FIFA and U.S. Soccer officials have formally unveiled the match schedule and official logo of the FIFA Women's World Cup USA 2003, an action-packed 32-match, 23-day tournament that will take place in the United States between 20 September and 12 October.

Continuing continental qualifying rounds have shaped this month’s FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking, whipping up considerable changes for certain countries. Turkey (7, up 4) find themselves in the Top Ten for the first time ever, and Cameroon (15, up 2) have never sat so comfortably in the ranking.
